By admin | February 5, 2008
The iPod touch today got an increase in its storage to store even music, pictures and vids with Apple announcement of a 32GB version, doubling its storage capacity. The new 32GB iPod touch retailing for $499, has, as of this morning has added to the Apple store, next to the previous $399 16GB model and the $299 8GB model. The 32gb iPod touch units include the $20 software upgrade ( Mail, Maps, Stocks, Weather & Notes) announced in Jan and with OS 1.1.3, but don’t appear to bring any other additions or advancements beyond the increased memory.
The rumors were everywhere this morning fueled largely by Apple shutting down their online store, that the iPhone could be getting a 16GB upgrade and/or a 3G iPhone version the did not materialize, today Apple has only officially launched a larger 16GB iPhone priced at $499, along side the 32gb touch. The 32GB iPod touch are available and shipping now in 1-2 business days.
